How did you discover overlanding?
My first overlanding experience was in Namibia (South Africa) back in 2013 – my friend and I rented an overlanding vehicle with the roof top tent and roamed this beutiful country for two weeks, and I was in love with overlanding since then.
Couple years later we did similar trip to Kenya and Tanzania.
I was always very interested in backpacking and camping, my favorite trails here in US were mostlly in Yosemite, I have also discovered most of the US National Parks.
I’ve been watching a lot of overlanding videos on YouTube and that was the main reason I decided to move forward and buy an offroad vehicle.

What is your favorite piece of overlanding gear you have?
For my favorite overlanding gear, the iKamper Mini roof top tent and portable propane fire pit are the winners!

Why do you overland?
Most of my trips are solo. It’s a perfect opportunity to have some real mental rest, enjoy the silence and the nature. I always avoid campsites in my trips, looking for remote dispersed camping destinations with no other people around.
